The Chappell Group, Inc. in conjunction with the lIer Planning Group (IPG) was contracted by the Town of Davie to prepare GIS maps of all existing resources within the Town of Davie. Included in this task was the research of regulatory permit records for information on existing conservation areas and jurisdictional wetlands, compilation of information on the acreage of the conservation easement wetlands, parks, trails, and canals, the geographical distribution of these parcels, the relative accessibility of these areas to residents served (using distance circles), the primary uses of such parcels, connectivity issues, and improvements needed to meet future demands within the Town of Davie. In addition, the Town’s recreational/open space and conservation lands were determine to be consistent with County conservation lands, open space maps, and Greenway Plan. Review County Greenways Plan.
