Marina Pointe II is located in Safe Harbor along the Halifax River on Beach Street in the City of Daytona Beach, Florida. The proposed project is to convert an existing boatyard and maintenance facility into a 188 unit multifamily condominium with a 150 slip wet slip marina, and Charter House Restaurant with fuel dock.
The Chappell Group, Inc. provided and is still providing all environmental services for the marina development. As required by permitting agencies, The Chappell Group provided all permitting services and design for the every aspect of the marina including the restaurant transient dockage. Because of the delay in of the slip allocation in the City of Daytona Beach, The Chappell Group was able to assist with the Client and the City to expedite the drafting of the dock ordinance in order for the marina to be permitted in line with the Client’s timeline for completion. Environmental Permits are in the application process with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and St. Johns River Water Management District.
