The Las Olas Mooring Field is located in the City of Fort Lauderdale, south of the Las Olas Bridge and within the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). The City of Fort Lauderdale proposed to install information buoys within the existing mooring field.
The Chappell Group, Inc. was contracted to permit the installation of the informational buoys through the U.S. Coast Guard, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, United States Army Corps of Engineers, and Broward County Environmental Protection & Growth Management Department.
