Due to City of Miramar public objection to the County Fair, The City of Miramar redesigned the site as an active regional park. The park is located on 200 acres in western Miramar. The park\u2019s facilities include a 35-acre wetland conservation area, a 28-acre lake system with beach and boat rental facilities; picnic areas and shelters, softball fields, soccer\/cricket fields, tennis and basketball courts, and a water playground facility. The Chappell Group, Inc. designed, permitted, and conducted construction observation and monitoring of the wetland mitigation area.
