Lauderdale, FL 33487-2727<\/p>\n<p><strong>Construction Cost:<\/strong> $1,500,000.00<\/p>\n<p>The Pal\u2019s Captains Table project consists of the repair and replacement of an existing docking facility associated with a restaurant along the Intracoastal Waterway (ICWW). The project site is located along the west side of the ICWW, immediately south of the Hillsboro Boulevard Bridge<br \/>\nin the City of Deerfield Beach, Florida. The subject site in unique in that the parcel includes privately owned submerged bottom adjacent to state-owned sovereign submerged lands. The Chappell Group, Inc. was responsible for all environmental services related to the design and permitting of the modified docking facility through the local, state and federal environmental regulatory agencies. Due to the nature of the facility and submerged parcel, along with it\u2019s location adjacent to a bridge, the project required extensive coordination through the State of Florida Division of State Lands and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to clarify sufficient upland interest and riparian rights for the property, along with the necessary approvals for modified structures adjacent to FDOT right of way.
