The project property is truly unique, consisting of a six (6) acre parcel bisected by South Ocean Boulevard (State Road A-1-A). The property includes expansive frontage along the Atlantic Ocean and Spanish River, offering direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Hillsboro Inlet.\u00a0 The proposed project includes the development of two (2) separate hotel buildings along either side of A-1-A being connected by proposed open-air bridge over the roadway itself.\u00a0 The oceanfront parcel will include an expansive oceanfront restaurant and over 260 private balconied guest rooms. The western half of the upscale hotel will feature additional guest rooms, ball rooms, meeting space and a twenty-eight (28) slip marina. The proposed marina is situated along the Spanish River Canal, and will include a new concrete bulkhead and fixed finger piers to accommodate boats up to 45\u2019 in length.<\/p>\n<p>The Chappell Group, Inc. was responsible for all environmental services related to the design and permitting of the proposed marina. Environmental services provided to the developer included a full benthic resource survey and upland site assessment, along with the design and permitting of the proposed marina.
