The Chappell Group, Inc. is currently seeking the following professionals:

Project Biologist/Scientific Diver
Responsibilities include conducting coral relocation monitoring, identification of underwater species, preparing dive logs/tables, operation plans, benthic surveys, and coordinating with regulatory agencies, and contractors. Salary is dependent on level of relevant experience and skills.  Required Skills and Qualifications: B.S. in a natural science (e.g., biology, environmental studies); 1-5 years of relevant experience; experience with preparing exhibits, and plans, preparing correspondence with agencies and clients, ability to identify seagrass and coral species, and exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Candidate must be capable of snorkeling/diving; capable of being outdoors in terrestrial and aquatic environments in South Florida during all seasons of the year, capable of being on a vessel in all types of weather conditions, and must be SCUBA certified, AAUS Scientific Diver/Rescue Diver preferred.

The following are also desired skills for this position: AutoCAD/GIS capabilities, Report writing, Report review, Flora and Fauna Identification, and Construction Inspection experience.
