This project is located along 1-95 and the CSX Railroad between Oakland Park Boulevard and NW 27th Street on the C-13 Canal in the City of Oakland Park. The proposed project was the installation of a 72″ RCP drainage pipe and outfall associated with storm water and drainage improvements for NW 21st Avenue under the FEC railway and into the C-10 Canal. The Chappell Group, Inc. provided environmental services such as permitting services and an Environmental Assessment for the proposed project. Environmental Permits were obtained from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACOE), Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), and Broward County Environmental Protection and Growth Management Department (EPGMD). Construction completed in March 2010.
