The Chappell Group was the lead environmental consulting firm for the monitoring and maintenance for six (6) wetland mitigation sites totaling over 300 acres around Broward County as part of the Environmental Preservation Program for Broward County Solid Waste Operations Division.
These sites totaling over 300 acres include Tree Tops Park, East Everglades Area, Ash Landfill site, Hacienda Flores, Riverine, and the Broward Interim Contingency Landfill. The Chappell Group, Inc. assists the Program with the contracting process in awarding maintenance contracts, performs quarterly site inspections, identifies the areas requiring continued maintenance, and makes recommendations on how to improve and continue the sustainability of all the mitigation sites.
The Chappell Group, Inc. concluded these tasks for Broward County in 2013.
