The Chappell Group, Inc. (TCG) provided the full scope of environmental consulting services for the Parkland Reserve residential development. Services provided for various clients associated with ownership and development of the land included regulatory permitting, mitigation permitting and design, license transfer, construction observation services and long term mitigation monitoring. Environmental permitting services included the regulatory permitting and transfer process through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Florida Water Management District, Broward County Environmental Protection and Growth Management.
Upon completion of the permitting process, TCG provided construction observation services associated with the earthwork, grading and planting of the mitigation areas. TCG was responsible for the development of planting specifications and the coordination to solicit bids to complete the mitigation planting.
TCG is currently conducting the five (5) years of monitoring as required by the applicable environmental permits.
